Description of your visit to the Prado museum
On the emblematic Paseo del Prado, you’ll find one of the world’s largest and most famous art galleries: the Prado museum. Built as the headquarters of the Royal Cabinet of History and Natural Sciences, it was converted into a museum in the early 19th century. It houses the world’s finest collection of Spanish, Flemish and Italian paintings, as well as German, French and English works.
